  11. I have an a4000.  I get the following problems using the 030, a warp 
  12. 4040, and a gvp gforce 040 with a gvp a4008.  I get software failures 
  13. daily on all different tasks.  I think the message I usually get is 
  14. something similar to "Failed Sanity Check on MemFree()".  The guru 
  15. numbers I get are 810000050 and 0100000c0.  It makes no difference what 
  16. cards (if any) and what cpu is in my system.  Sometimes my system will 
  17. stay up for 20 hours, but it usually dies after 5 hours or so.

  19. I thought I had solved the problem a month ago.  While looking around, I 
  20. found a small screw resting against (actually more like wedged against) 
  21. one of the cia's.  When I removed the screw, my IDE began working again 
  22. (it had stopped working a year ago - around the same time my ram-guru 
  23. problems started).  I thought the problem was solved.  It wasn't.  Just 
  24. the other day my disk drive stopped working totally.  I haven't tried 
  25. another drive yet.  Everything seem to be pointing towards my CIA's.  
  26. Before replacing them though, I wanted to find out if somebody has an 
  27. idea what else may be wrong.  I would like to fix things properly.

  29. My parallel port and my clock work fine if that tells you anything... I 
  30. figured they would be screwy if the CIA's were in need of replacing.

  32. Please help me.  I have a nice a system while it's working!
